Nassella tenuissima, or Mexican Feathergrass, is an attractive grass commonly found in landscaping. In nature, it grows on rocky slopes typically in association with oak and pine scrubland or forest. Under ideal conditions, this grass can spread from gardens into disturbed sites especially if planted outside of its native range from southern Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas to central Mexico. Needs well-draining soil and full sun.
