Lycium pallidum, or Pale Wolfberry, is a drought tolerant shrub up to 6 ft tall in the tomato family found at 2500-7500 ft in full sun. White pendular, grouped flowers produce red fruits that are abundant food for birds and other wildlife. Our desert lyciums are relatives of the Goji Berry! The shrub flowers March-April and sets fruit by the end of May. Transplants well, reseeds readily.
