Texas Toadflax, or Nuttallanthus texanus,

is an annual or biennial wildflower that is slender and grows to be 0.5 ft to 2.5 ft tall. This plant is found along arroyos and stream banks, as well as in open grassland habitats between 1500 ft and 5000 ft. The small pea-like, purple flowers can be seen in bloom March-June.
