Sisyrinchium longipes, or Timberland Blue-Eyed Grass, is a grass-like forb found in meadows, along streams, and at springs and seeps. This water loving plant grows to be about 1.5 ft tall has yellow or oranges flowers that bloom between June and August. It typically grows between 7000-12000 ft in elevation and does well in soils with heavy organic matter. Does well in containers as well as planted in full to part shade with plenty of water.
