Bouteloua gracilis, or Blue Grama, is a perennial grass that grows to be up to 3’ ft tall. Hairy grama naturally grows in plains, meadows, and pastures as well as along disturbed areas like roadsides. This grass is used for nesting materials and is feed for some birds and small mammals. Does well in sandy, rocky, or caliche soils. Low water needs. Plant in full sun to part shade. No shipping.
