Funastrum cynanchoides, or Climbing Milkweed, is a vine that climbs trees and shrubs along streams and in desert washes. It also grows in drier plains habitats at elevations of 1500-4500 ft. This milkweed blooms May-September and is pollinated by bees. This is a host plant for monarch and queen butterfly larvae. Plant in partial to full sun, wet to dry conditions.
