Achillea millefolium, or Common Yarrow, is a native, herbaceous perennial that grows up to 2 ft tall. Found in damp, dry, salty, clay, or sandy soils, mostly in the mountains, pine forests, pastures, meadows, roadsides, disturbed areas, and streamsides, from 5500-11500 ft. Flowers June-September and thrives in full sun in dry to medium moisture well-drained soils. Yarrow attracts butterflies, bees and other insects, making it a nice addition to a pollinator garden.
