Chilopsis linearis, or Desert willow, can reach 25-30 ft in height. This small tree tends to grow along desert waterways and sandy washes at elevations between 1500-5500 ft. The whitish, orchid-like flowers, tinged with light purple and yellow, can be seen April-August and are pollinated primarily by large bees. This is a great species for erosion mitigation. Plant in partial to full sun in well-draining soil. No shipping.
