Cirsium grahamii, or Graham's Thistle, grows up to 4 ft tall and can be found in damp soils in oak woodlands, coniferous forests, openings in pine forests, and meadows between 4500-8500 ft. Like most thistles, Graham's Thistle is a fantastic pollinator generalist plant that will attract and support moths, native bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds alike from July-September with its dark purple flowers. This thistle has a medium to high water requirement and is rarely available on the market. Plant in full sun to partial shade.
