Conoclinium greggii, or Gregg's Mistflower, is a perennial wildflower that has fluffy violet flowers that bloom from summer- fall and are loved by bees and various species of butterflies. This little aster grows up to 2 ft in height, but spreads via rhizomes to create a nice ground cover. It prefers seasonally wet stream beds and plains between 3500-6000 ft. Plant in partial to full sun, and wet to dry conditions. Transplants well and spreads and reseeds readily. Plant in any soil type.
