Clematis drummondii, or Old Man's Beard, is a woody vine that can grow as large as 20 ft. tall. It has small white flowers with many yellow stamens, followed by fluffy white plumed seed heads, blooming in March-September. This climbing plant grows in a variety of habitats such as grasslands, scrub oak, fencerows, and along streams and slopes below 4500 ft. elevation. It is pollinated by bees. Plant in partial to full sun, wet to dry conditions. No shipping.
