Agave univittata, or Thorn-crested agave is native to Mexico and parts of Texas, and has been cultivated extensively throughout the world as an ornamental and drought tolerant plant due to its light variegation and prolific pupping. This mid-sized agave is monocarpic (flowering once in life) and can live various decades. This hardy plant likes full sun and can tolerate hard frosts into the low teens, but prefers less severe frost. No shipping.
