Guardiola playphylla, or Papalotillo, is an herbaceous forb that grows to 3 ft tall. Papalotillo has small radiate white flowers. They can be found in canyons, hillsides, and among rocks between 3000 and 5000 ft in elevation. Papalotillo flower February-September and appear to be the only species in the genus in Arizona. Medium water needs. Plant in full sun to part shade. No shipping.
