New Milkweed alert!
 
Asclepias linearis, or Slim Milkweed, is a slender upright perennial, to 0.5 m, branching only at the base and terminating in an umbel of very small greenish-white flowers. This milkweed is found in dry prairies, from 5,500 to 6,500 feet. It grows in southern AZ along the border to south TX and south through Sonora to Sinaloa and Durango.  Blooms between May and September. This is a host plant for monarch and queen butterfly larvae. Plant in partial to full sun, dry conditions. No shipping. 4”x10” pots are the same volume as 1gallon pots and we use them frequently in restoration.
