Cirsium ochrocentrum, or Yellow-Spine Thistle, grows up to 2.5ft tall (is known as a shorter thistle) and is found in open areas, grasslands, and often in disturbed areas between 4500-8000 ft. This thistle supports multiple pollinators including moths, native bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Its pink flowers bloom June-October. This thistle prefers full sun exposure and well-draining, disturbed soils. No shipping.
