Senegalia gregii, also known as Catclaw acacia or Wait-a-Minute Bush, is a native shrub or tree in the Fabaceae family, reaching to 20 ft or more. (Formerly Acacia greggii.) It is native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It's flowers are cream colored and fragrant. Fruits are legumes, wide, flat, often twisted and narrowed between seeds; which hang on into winter. Gambel quails will feed on the seed. This plant is found on flats, washes, and slopes below 5,000 ft.
