Gossypium thurberi, or Desert Cotton, is a perennial deciduous native shrub that is found in ephemeral washes in arid landscapes between 2500-8000 ft. It is a great nectar plant for native pollinators as it begins its flowering period in the hot and dry months of spring and flowers through to fall. It transplants well, prefers sandy soils and can be trained into a tree form. No shipping.
