Salvia lemmonii, or Lemmon’s Sage, has small, tubular, pink flowers that are a favorite of butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees between July-October. This low-growing aromatic mint can reach up to 3 ft tall and prefers rocky slopes and canyon habitats at 6000-8000 ft. Plant in partial to full sun in any well-draining soil. Transplants well, spreads, and reseeds readily.
