Amoreuxia palmatifida, or Mexican Yellowshow, is a low-growing perennial wildflower with deeply lobed palmate leaves, reddish stems, and bright orange-yellow flowers with spots of deep maroon. This plant is found on dry rocky slopes and mesas in semi-desert grassland and shrubland habitats at 2,500-5,000 ft elevations. This plant blooms July-September.
