Agave schottii, or Shindagger Agave, is a small, drought tolerant, native succulent found growing in dense clusters in rocky desertscrub, grassland, and woodland habitats from 3000-6500 ft. It grows to 1 ft in height from its basal rosette of sharp, curved leaves, and produces a less erect flowering stalk that can be 5 ft. The dense spike of yellow flowers is pollinated by native bees and hummingbirds. Plant in full sun in well-draining soil. No shipping.
