Sphaeralcea angustifolia, or Narrow-Leaved Globemallow, is a perennial mallow that can grow to be 5 ft tall and likes sandy, disturbed soils. The small, salmon colored flowers bloom April-June and are pollinated by native bees. Found in desertscrub and semidesert grassland/shrubland habitats between 0-4000 ft. Plant in full sun in well-draining soil.
