Lysiloma watsonii, also known as Feather Tree or Fern Tree, is a large, spreading shrub 5-15 m, with dark brown bark, and numerous feathery leaves. Flowers are white and ball-shaped, fruits are large, reddish-brown flat pods. Distinctive because of its often low growing spreading habit along with the feathery appearance of the pinnate leaves. Found on gravelly and rocky slopes and canyon walls, from 2,500-4,000 ft.  Flowers May-June.  Full sun, low water. No shipping.
